Rev. Dormetria was first licensed to preach the gospel at First Rock Baptist Church (located in Washington, DC) in 2000, and again in Dayton, Ohio at Omega Baptist Church in 2014. She was ordained an American Baptist Minister in 2015 and currently serves as an associate minister at Omega Baptist Churc. Her ministerial journey as a woman is an example of the power of doing the work of ministry inside and outside the four walls of a church building, while allowing your gifts to make room for you.
